Why I Built ResponderOne

My experience in fire and EMS is what led to ResponderOne. I spent a lot of time using the tools available to departments and wondering why some of them felt so far behind the technology we had become used to everywhere else.

They were functional, but I felt there was a lack of progress. I wanted to build something with more attention to the experience, more willingness to listen, and a bigger vision for what fire and EMS software could become.

That became ResponderOne. The experience that led me to start the company still shapes the way I lead it today and keeps us focused on building for the people who actually use these tools.
